Wine and olive oil produced by La Tinaia farm

Direct sale of DOC wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The farm covers an area of 7 hectares and is located 300 metres above sea level, on the hills south-west of Florence. We have about 600 olive trees and a vineyard about 1 hectare large.

The wine production cycle is entirely managed by the farm, where the grapes are grown, and where the vinification process and subsequent refiniment, aging and bottling of the wine take place. Annual production is 4500 bottles of Chianti DOCG.

We grow our olives, that we harvest in end October-November, and bring them, in the shortest time possible, to the olive oil mill owened by our Tuscan Olive Growers association to produce a top quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our annual production of extra virgin olive oil is 1200-1500 litres.

For the lovers of wine and food, it is possible to take part in guided tastings of Chianti DOCG wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and buy these products directly on the farm. We offer a guided tour to the cellar and the farm and a tasting of 3 wines and 1 olive oil accompanied by cold cuts and cheese. You can buy our wine and oil also online.
